9:00-11:00 AM: Adults and high school age participants are needed to help with invasive plant removal followed by a light lunch supplied by Oconee County Water Resources Department and UOWN Oconeewaters Committee.
12:00-3:00 PM: Oconeewaters; along with the Oconee County Water Resources and Storm Water Departments, will do water quality monitoring demonstrations and educational activities; for the whole family to enjoy. We will spread out these stations to help practice social distancing, limit the number at each station, use hand sanitizer and wear masks at stations.

The Upper Oconee Watershed Network's Oconeewaters Committee will host this event which will include restoring native habitats and sharing information about the watershed. COVID precautions will be observed at all times and reminder signs will be posted in the park.
Workers will receive a long sleeve "Protect Our Water" t-shirt for their efforts. Workers should come dressed for this work wearing long pants, long sleeve shirts and closed toed shoes for going up and down the streambank safely. Oconeewaters will supply rubberized gloves, tools, spray bottles and goggles required for use by all workers.
