For Accident Reports:
The Watkinsville Police Department, along woth all other agencies across the State of Georgia, now submit all traffic accidents reports to the State electronically. We no longer have paper copies of wreck reports to hand out.
If you are involved in a traffic accident in Watkinsville simply notify your insurance agent and they can obtain the report for you. Insurance companies are familiar with this new system.
You may obtain a copy of the accident report directly be logging onto: www.buycrash.com. There is a charge for this service. You will need to know, 1. The date of the accident, 2. The Watkinsville Police Department ORI number which is 1080100, 3. The local case number (when available), and 4. Your name.
This should assist you with obtaingin the information you need.
