Watkinsville Community Center Rules
- The Watkinsville Police Department has the authority to shut down a party if deemed necessary.
- Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed inside or on the outside grounds of the Community Center.
- Ceiling decorations are not permitted. Do not tape, affix, tie or attach anything to the ceiling. Do NOT apply tape or any adhesive to the floor. We like to keep the Center looking good for your use at a reasonable cost. **Your key/clean up deposit will be kept should we have any problems with this or other clean up problems.
- Wall decorations are not permitted. Do not tape, affix, or attach anything to the walls. Your key/clean up deposit will be kept should we find any problems with this or other clean up problems.
- Platforms cannot be constructed for use in the Community Center.
- The thermostat is locked and the City regulates the setting as the seasons change.
- Cofee machines are compliments of the Oconee Rotary Club. Coffee filters are NOT provided. PLEASE DO NOT PLUG IN MORE THAN ONE COFFEE MACHINE PER OUTLET. All electrical items should be spaced around the room to prevent overloading the circuit.
- DO NOT SIT/STAND ON THE TABLES. DO NOT DRAG TABLES OR CHAIRS OVER THE FLOOR. DO NOT REMOVE ANY PROPERTY FROM THIS BUILDING.
- FOR CANCELLATIONS - A request must be made 7 business days prior to your reservation to receive a refund. Refund check will ONLY be printed on Friday with our accounts payable.
DO NOT FORGET BEFORE YOU LEAVE
- Move and stack the tables and chairs at the end of the Community Center to the cinder block wall with the large screen.
- Sweep the floor, mop if necessary. Cleaning supplies are in the "Utility Closet". Please leave the building as clean as you found it.
- Remove all items from the refrigerator.
- Remove trash to the outside containers. Please replace ALL trash bags. Extra bags are in the bottom drawer of the kitchen cabinet. Do not forget the bathrooms.
- Turn off all lights. Do not forget the bathroom lights.
- Lock the front door.
**Deposits will be prorated or kept in entirety if the above is not completed and the Rules stated above are not followed.
